Hampton Roads is the market we work in, and live in. That means older homes, VA-loan timelines, and military move dates are part of how we plan every project. We build across Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Hampton, Suffolk, and Newport News.

Providence was founded in Hampton Roads with a focus on residential remodels for homeowners who plan to live in their home for the long run. The company was built around that homeowner relationship, which is why every estimate comes in writing and every project runs through a single point of contact from first walkthrough to final warranty.Providence is a Hampton Roads residential contractor focused on kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home remodels for families across the seven cities. Every project we take on, we treat like it's the only one we'll be judged on.
On every project:

Providence remodels homes across the seven cities of Hampton Roads: Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Hampton, Suffolk, and Newport News.
We know the older homes, the VA-loan timelines, and the military move-in pressure that come with the region.
Most kitchen remodels run 6 to 10 weeks, and bathroom remodels run 4 to 6 weeks. The exact timeline depends on scope: layout changes and new plumbing add time, while finish-only refreshes go faster. Whole-home projects vary the most. In every case, you'll have a fixed timeline before we start, and recent reviews on Google show we've finished projects faster than the original estimate.
Every project has a single point of contact who sends regular updates on what got finished and what's coming up. If anything shifts, you hear it from us first. Between updates, you can reach your project lead by call or text.

Your estimate is fixed at the design phase and holds through the build. If we discover something unexpected mid-build (rare, but it happens with older Hampton Roads homes), we tell you before any cost change.
